Day six 15.october (19:36):
On the phone from Rugen with Bjørn Tore Hagen this time.
Looks like we are finished for today after 19 rounds completed.
Rain today but they did manage 3 complete rounds on the same slope as yesterday with a lot of trees... There is scheduled one round tomorrow as the last round. Today there was also a profile meeting with famous Helmut Quabeck that the guys thought was very interresting. But the guys are now really tired after getting up every day at 7, briefing at 8 and start flying at 9... It has also been boring at times with no supliers and a lot of hours on the slope.

Day five 14.october:
Same slope as yesterday with trees. Sad that we are not flying on the other slope as people practice on that one in the morning and it goes really fast there. 8-10m/s wind and sunny sky. More wind in the end of the last round was a pitty for Espen that starts early but relativlely even conditions and maybe 20 rounds makes is good. Martin Herrig has flown really weell and leads the pack with 4 thousands in the last rounds. His brother is also flying well but Martin is slightly more agressive and therefore gets better paid in good conditions. The times are in the 40-ties with todays best by Martin at 38 something. We are now finished with 16 rounds and Espen is in 4th. Only a few points (10-12) separate number 5 and up to 3rd. Team Norway still ok in top 3 with Bjørn Tore a little bit less and Rolf Børge doing ok. Tomorrow the weather forecast says the same wind but more cluds.
a few notes:
- Carlos Rivero still in top ten!
- Danish Hebsgaard flying really well with his old glassfiber Ellipse 2 and is in 6th place. Cool!
- Mark Southall says he does small mistakes but flyes constant and well around 45 seconds.
- They have said that they will have two throwouts when 20 rounds is reached but they might not manage 20 rounds...
- There will be an technical meeting on saturday.

Day four 12.october:
Pictures arrived :-)
Keep looking each day...  new pictures will be added

They have reached 13 rounds today so they flew 4 complete rounds in one day. Klaus Kowalski is still seated well on top with Espen jumping up and down a bit. Dieter Perlick got two 1000p then a 49s round...
John McCurdy is sadly having problems. Tx ?
Kevin Newton with crashed Viking is flying Brio and in the last rounds VR.
Today they flew on a 30m heigh slope but with lots of trees. They could not even see down the slope and Geir Njaa hit a tree without knowing it. the parts flew all over but he flew the whole round without knowing. Even after the landing he had to look at the model to belive it.
Wind today was 8-10m/s a little to the side and good weather.

Results after 10 rounds is out but not with throwouts...
So we have made a new spreadsheet :-)
.txt  |  .pdf  |  .xls

Beware the competition is not finished...
They will possibly fly up to 20 rounds

Day three 12.october night:
After 9 rounds:
1. Klaus kowalski
2. Helge Bochert
3. Espen Torp
4. Peter Kowalski
5. Andreas Herrig
Other notes:
- Espen Torp won round 9 and is the only one with 3 rounds won.
- Carlos Rivero from Venezuela is doing well and is up there in the top with flat flying and nice smooth turning.
- Andreas H. gave Stephan Goebel a bad throw and ended up in the slope with 100p penalty in round 8.
- Rolf Børge Rettedal is holding up nice and with Bjørn Tore Hagen well wiwthin the top ten Team Norway 1 is in 2nd place as team.
- Dag Skoglund went in a bush in round 9 and got a zero.
- John McCurdy got a banger with his Aris in round 7 but the model is ok.
- Martin Herrig got a bad day and is down around 15th.
- Because of rain there ewas some groupscoring in round 7. There will be groupscoring in the case of rain.
- All pilots got yellow raincoats with name and startnumber :-)

Day three 12.october morning:
Since there are no results on www.F3F.de we bring the most important ones right here... From the Norwegian team by phone.
After round 6
1. Helge Borchert
2. Peter Kowalski
3. Martin Herrig
4. Klaus Kowalski
5. Andreas herrig
6. Espen Torp
7. Doug Reel
8. Tim Cone
9. Knud Hebsgaard
10. Stephan Goebl
11. Bjørn Tore Hagen
25. Dag Skoglund
30. Fritz Kristoffersen
35. Rolf Børge Rettedal
49. Geir Njaa
61. Ronny Sandslett
No throwouts yet... :-)

Day two 11.october:
By phone to Espen after round 4: Stephan Goebel won round 4 on a very small F3F course (less space on this slope). It is apx 85m so the times are getting faster. Bjørn Tore Hagen is getting the hang of it now and are 16th after 4 rounds. Espen is now in 8th and Rolf Børge is doing ok. Team Norway 1 is now 4 or 5.
Round 5 were won by Espen on a 33, something. Kowalski flew a 32,5 while we were on the phone in round 6 but Espen have yet to fly. Espen is now 6th after 5 Germans with Herrig in the lead. After round 5 team Norway 1 is in 3rd place!! 6th round is nearly finished as this is written. There will not be more rounds today.

"Camp yellow" - MMS photo from Bjørn Tore Hagen

Day one 10.october:
SMS 1: After round 1 Espen Torp is in 1st and Bjørn Tore Hagen in 2nd.
Looks like Martin Herrig is crushing everyone in round two with a 42s run.
SMS 2: Andreas Herrig crushed everyone with a 34,7sec in round 3. Espen got a 42 somthing. Better conditions right now. McCurdy won round two after a reflight.
By phone: Martin looks to be well at the top while his brother had some bad first flights (50,49 and then 34,7). The competitors does not know the excact results (As of 20:00). Espen has been starting early just after Stefan G. Some special rules stated: 20 rounds max and you are only allowedd 2 models. If you break both you are allowed 1 more. Pitty for Espen that have 3 completely differrent models. Maybe he should crash one... There have been some crashes. Some sunflying, difficult landings (rotor), one have to walk far and difficult to get altitude above some trees. 3-4 rounds tomorrow and a long way to ogo still.
