Local rules:
Presenting the model for the buzzer:
This means that the pilot is responsible to make sure the buzzer
can see your model so a signal can be given. If the buzzer does
not see the model pass the A-Frame the buzzer must wait until
the model is presented.
It means that the model must stay above the slope in every turn.
It is possible to fly under the slope in the middle if you want
to.
Entering the course for the first leg you must make sure the
buzzer see your model. If not you will not get a signal and have
to turn back like it was a cut.
Safety:
Some of our slopes will have a safety line and a safety judge.
It will be explained when we get to the slope.
We ask you all to think safety at all times when you fly.
Flying before the contest start:
In general we do not permit flying while we set up our course
equipment due to safety. If you really need to fly we suggest
that you go out early before the contest organisation comes to
the site or do your flights another place.
It is not permitted to fly DS or acro flying after your flight.
Land as quickly as possible in the designated landing area.
Penalty of 300 points will be given to any pilot if caught
flying DS or acro. Landing outside the landing area is zero for
the round.
Weather station:
We will use our weather station to determine if the conditions
was valid or not during a flight.
The CD will decide the lowest value for any given slope.
The device measures the values each second and calculates an
average for each flight (from entering the course to finish)
All data will be noted and given out after the competition.
