Jo lives in mid-Norway a long way from civilization... The "Town" is Fagernes. He is educated electrician/electronics and has spent most of his free time flying gliders and electrics, starting at the age of 12. The last 11 years have been dedicated competition in the FAI class F3J but also coordinator, webmaster, magazine editor and development of models have had high priority. Jo has also some medals from sailing one type class!
Last couple of years he has also been involved in a DVD (Lift Ticket To Norway) and has been invited to both invitational event in Turkey and Nats in USA (2nd place). Last years he has attended some Eurotour events with good results.
In the local club he is working behind the scenes on Norway's biggest Airshow on the ice. This Airshow gets 100+ pilots on the ice for a long weekend of flying.
Records:
Jo became National Championship F3J in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and won the national cup all those years. He is also involved in F3B and won the national championship in 2007. F3F is also flown frequently and he became National Champion in 2006. At international level he have attended 4 F3J world championships (Corfu 2000 as Team manager) and one F3B World Championship.
In 2006 he got the H.M. the Kings trophy for his achievements in National Championship

Alf Erik has been flying model airplanes for many years. For some years now he has been working his way up the ladder in F3J and have many, many hours on the flying field.
When Alf Erik does something he does it methodically and wants to get every little detail right.
Alf Erik has a silver medal from National Championship and attended World Championship F3J in 2006

Tor Midtlund - Ottestad. Born 01.08.63. Email: tor (@) midtlund.no
Tor was "up and coming" in F3J but is now too much involved in the sport to be called a rookie. He is former National champion and won the kings trophy in Archery 1997 and is a team player. Tor is flying for the club Løten mfk and the area is well known for its Akevit liquer. After a MC accident in -97 he had to quit archery in -00. Modelflying has been a hobby since -78 but after the accident he has began competing in modelling. In F3J he became 2nd in the National championship 2002 and 3rd in 2006.
Tor attended the WC F3J in Canada 2004 as a pilot and in Martin 2006 as a helper/spotter.

Jana Vostrelova
Jane was also our helper in 2006 and is a fantastic runner (and girl ;). Jane has an eye for every detail and you know the runners and lines are ready when she is in charge. Jane is also an excellent pilot herself and will beat most of us given the chance!
Jane is also the third "half" of Samba models as the sister of Jaroslav and Vlastimil Vostrel. And offcourse the daughter of Jaroslav senior!
